A first-of-its-kind sanctuary
Eynsham Baths
Deep in the ancient woodland, Eynsham Baths lies in wait…
Eynsham Baths is a 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa. Here, time softens and slows, allowing you to detach and relax either alone, for some well-deserved solitude, or with friends for a more social experience.
Please note Eynsham Baths will be closed from Monday 6th – Friday 10th January 2025 for necessary works. We do apologise for the inconvenience. Treatments will not be available from Monday – Wednesday but will resume as normal from Thursday 9th January.
Spa access, plus the thermal journey, is complimentary for Estelle members and £95 per person for hotel guests and Estelle members’ guests for the 180-minute journey or £145 for the full day pass. Eynsham Baths is bookable by members and hotel guests only.
Eynsham Baths is an adults-only occasion, for guests aged 18 and over.
A first-of-its-kind sanctuary
Eynsham Baths comes into view down a winding path, emerging through a centuries-old forest.
The grand 3,000 sq m property has neoclassical architecture inspired by the Roman villa ruins discovered close to the estate, with sculpted stone columns, pilasters, and hand-shaped bricks. Natural light abounds, providing a serene space to unwind.
Thermal Journey and full day pass
Our 180-minute Thermal Journey is £95 for each guest. The journey moves guests between six different thermal areas, from a Frigidarium to Caldarium, Tepidarium to Hay Sauna, stimulating the body’s immune system and metabolic rate, while soothing the nervous system. The team has drawn upon the clinical research from Dr. Huberman and Dr. Søberg on thermodynamics and the proven benefits of cold water and contrast therapy – depending on your state of need, there are two circuits designed to either energise and invigorate or calm and de-stress.
Thermal Journeys are available daily at the following times: 9am, 12:00pm, 3:00pm, 6:00pm.
Our full day pass, from 9am – 7pm daily, is £145 for each guest. This includes access to all thermal areas plus the Hideaway, an open-air hidden oasis, complete with a cascading waterfall, natural wildflowers, woodland ferns and a bar reminiscent of King Triton’s kingdom. Guests may access the baths multiple times throughout the day with this pass.
The spa encompasses a vast tepidarium bathing hall with carved marble details, five thermal pools, a lounge and ten treatment rooms, including couples’ suites and thermal cabins.
Our Treatments

Our five bespoke plant remedies are specially formulated, including an array of oils, silken balms, liniments, body scrubs, soaps and facial oils. They are a form of natural medicine, guided by the wisdom of plants.
Eynsham Baths allows you to reconnect with yourself on a transformative journey of wellbeing. Carefully curated specialist experiences are also available, including our Ceremony of the Soul treatment tailored to couples in the setting of their very own suite.
Our team will be in touch upon all bedroom bookings for enquires and bookings. Please note that Eynsham Baths is open to those aged 18 years and over.
The Tea Lounge
