Ranging from three to six bedrooms, our private houses are well-suited to groups of friends, families or colleagues. Warm and comfortable spaces with elevated design, they’re ideal for entertaining. To ensure a particularly spoiling stay, they also include your very own personal butler, on hand to perfect your itinerary as you wish.
Hollyhock
House information
Well-suited for groups of friends, Hollyhock is a warm and comforting space designed for generous entertaining. The perfect base for an intimate soirée, including three master suites; all with emperor-king size beds, fireplaces, freestanding bathtubs and private outdoor terraces, perfect for a quiet morning coffee. Should you be celebrating something special, the grand vaulted living area comes complete with a bar and full kitchen – an elegant spot for hosting guests, whether for a lively cocktail party or celebratory supper.

the farriers
House information
The Farriers is a spacious and airy five-bedroom house, designed with families in mind. The ground floor includes a generous master suite and two ensuite rooms, all with emperor-king size beds and fireplaces. Two further bedrooms sit on the upper level, alongside a cosy mezzanine balcony.
Living areas include a dine-in kitchen, with an over-sized dining table for the whole family to congregate around. Interiors lean towards eclectic quirks, with botanically inspired fabrics, antique furnishings and vaulted, double-height ceilings. Out in the private garden you’ll find comfy seating and shaded areas for the little ones.

Bluebell house
House information
A country haven, our six-bedroom barn is the largest house on the Oxfordshire estate. On arrival, de-robe in the boot room before making your way into the generous double-height living spaces.
Here you’ll find a very well-equipped dining-kitchen, as well as a comfortable living room, vintage furnishings pitched against 20th century pieces and warm, layered lighting. Three ensuite bedrooms sit on the ground floor, with a further ensuite bedroom upstairs, all with refined rural touches.
On the first floor there’s a library balcony overlooking the living room, two further bedrooms, and a delightful playroom, kitted out with all manner of toys, traditional boardgames and video games. A private garden framed by herbaceous blooming plants, provides a bucolic setting to relax and entertain.

Dining during your stay
Whilst staying in one of our three private houses, as well as enjoying the freedom of your own kitchen, you’ll be able to enjoy full access to our estate including our four delectable restaurants. From seasonal favourites in the lively Brasserie to traditional Chinese dishes in The Billiards Room, Japanese delicacies in The Armoury to comfort classics in The Glasshouse… our team are on hand to arrange reservations in your preferred space throughout your stay.
We also serve special feasting menus in each of our restaurants for larger groups and, for the ultimate convenience, our delicious in-house dining menus bespoke to our private houses offer a selection of opulent dishes from The Billiards Room, as well as indulgent sushi plates from The Armoury to be brought straight to your home-from-home.

From stocking up your preferred pantry staples to booking transfers and family activities, they’re on hand to ensure the most seamless of experiences to allow you to fully relax and enjoy everything our estate has to offer.

We’ve a number of experiences we can even bring straight to your very own door for you and your guests to enjoy. Little ones can take our miniature Landies for a spin or meet our adorable Estelle ponies, while our expert Head Falconer can bring our owls, hawks and falcons to your home for a fascinating close-up encounter. At Bluebell House, try your hand at target sports for a spot of friendly competition from own, private garden.
